Inmate phone call leads to felony drug charges against two Rochester residents

Rochester, MN – A phone call from the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center has led to several felony drug charges against two Rochester residents. The complaint, filed Wednesday, indicate a detainee called his girlfriend on Saturday and asked her to hide drugs for him. Rochester Police then searched two Rochester residences on Monday and found multiple small baggies of suspected meth, and a large amount of prescription pills that are often laced with fentanyl, according to the complaint, which notes the inmates girlfriend was also arrested. Both have court appearances set for next week [February 15] and next month [March 8].
