Iowa man facing charges in connection to peeping Tom incident at Clear Lake tanning business

(ABC 6 News) – An Iowa man who previously pleaded guilty for his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, is now facing charges in connection to a peeping Tom incident at a Clear Lake tanning business. The Clear Lake Police Department said 52-year-old, Daryl Eugene Johnson, was arrested and charged with invasion of privacy, stemming from a report of Johnson secretly recording patrons at a business on US Hwy 18 East in Clear Lake, where investigators determined a digital recording device was placed by Johnson to intentionally record customers without their knowledge or consent. The investigation remains open at this time.
