ALBERT LEA, Minn. – After a threatening call Wednesday targeting Albert Lea Area Schools, law enforcement was sent to district buildings as a precaution. The school district issued a statement saying that aftter an investiation it was determined there was no threat to student safety, and classes resumed with minimal disruption. The Albert Lea Police Department and Freeborn County Sheriff’s Department said they will continue to ensure the safety of students and staff.
