MANKATO – A Wells man charged in connection to a 2022 crime spree is pleading guilty. Adam Joseph Willaert, 41, had a plea hearing Thursday in Blue Earth County District Court, stemming from five different cases last year, involving drug possession, vehicle theft, and two burglaies, one of which Willaert was found sleeping at a residence he broke into. His next hearing on theses cases is set for Feb. 22. Willaert will also appear in court for a charge of credit card fraud on May 4.
