(ABC 6 News) – The City of Albert Lea is reminding all pet owners that the licensing period for dogs and cats begins on April 1. The City of Albert Lea is urging residents to license dogs and cats so if they get lost the tags can assist police in safely returning the pet to its owner. All dogs and cats within city limits are required to be licensed. Violators could be fined.
