(ABC 6 News) – The annual Paint the Town Pink campaign to raise funds for breast cancer and other cancer research has been canceled. Hormel Institute announced Wednesday that the final Paint the Town Pink, ‘Freezin’ for a Reason Ice Golf’ event in Austin scheduled for Saturday, will not be held due to poor ice conditions due to the recent rain and mild temperatures. There will still be a check presentation and thank you party on Saturday, at Hoot and Ole’s Tavern in Austin, at 11:00 a.m.. For additional Paint the Town Pink information visit their website.
