Austin woman enters not guilty plea for obstructing Valentine’s Day fire

An Austin woman pleaded not guilty Monday to more than a half dozen charges for blocking off the scene of a Valentine’s Day fire [February 14], and then leading authorities on a high speed chase. Austin Police say Samantha Rae Ricke, 33, is accused of obstructing fire crews at the Japan Panda restaurant on February 14, before prompting a police pursuit that ended near Mayo Clinic Health Systems where she was arrested. A jury trial has been scheduled for July 10th.
