(ABC 6 News) – The City of Albert Lea is ready to adopt a long-range plan to guide future growth and development. The Albert Lea City Council’s community Comprehensive Plan is a 2040 vision for all aspects of local government, officials said, incluidng economic development, housing, transportation and recreation. Officials said there are also action steps to meet the goals in the plan, which the council was expected to address and further discuss during Monday night’s meeting at City Hall.
