An armed felon suspected in a Makato burglary nearly turned the case cold when he hid a gun in the freezer. William Barsness of North Mankato, was charged in Blue Earth County Court this week, stemming from a Sunday morning burglary at Meadow Rivers Apartments where witnesses identifed the 45 year old as the gunman who tried push his way into their aparment. Police say a firearm was found hidden in a freezer.
