FOREST CITY, Iowa – A woman charged with 12 crimes for repeatedly burglarizing a Winnebago County farm is taking a plea deal. Melissa Ann Frost, of Blue Earth pleaded guilty to three of the dozen criminal charges, stemming from four different occasions between July and August 2021 in which the 43 year old is seen on trial camera footage robbing a farm in Thompson. The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office says she stole over $8,000 worth of items. A sentencing hearing is now scheduled for May 9.
