Austin, MN – A lockdown was ordered at Austin High School Wednesday due to a report of a firearm possibly being brandished at the school. The lockdown was put in place around noon and lasted about an hour. Austin Police says with assistance from the Mower County Sheriff’s Office they “have not been able to establish that a firearm was present at AHS yesterday.” The matter remains under investigation, officials said.
