Winnebago County man gets five years for 2022 drug, theft and weapons charges

FOREST CITY, Iowa – Theft, meth, and a gun crime are sending a Winnebago County man to prison. Christopher Eugene Bachman, 40 of Buffalo Center, has been sentenced to five years behind bars after pleading guilty to 2022 drug and weapons charges. Law enforcement says Bachman was arrested in Thompson last year [2022], with tools stolen from a construction company, a loaded shotgun, and a glass jar filled with methamphetamine.
