Rain, thunderstorms, snow, and a wintery mix could impact your evening commute. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for a large portion of southern Minnesota in effect from later today through Saturday morning, including in, Dodge, Steele, and Waseca Counties. In addition to the potential for heavy snow later Friday, wind gusts of 40 to near 50 mph are expected, which will lead to blowing debris and drifting snow and low visibility for commuters.
