ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Few details are being released after the body of a Rochester man who disappeared without a trace just after Christmas last year was discovered near Kutzky Park on Friday. The family of Thomas McElroy says he was last seen after he left St. Marys Hospital on December 27 near 11th Avenue SW. He was not dressed appropriately for the outdoors and authorities say he may have sought shelter in the area. The Rochester Police Department says the remains of the 43 year old were found after the snow had melted. The investigation is ongoing and police said the cause of death is pending an autopsy.
