Gun fire at a Geneva bar sent patrons fleeing for safety

(Geneva, MN) – Gun fire at a Geneva bar sent patrons fleeing for safety on Saturday [April 22]. The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office says a fight broke out between a group of about 10 people at the Geneva Bar and Grill on Main St. W, where witnesses told police a man involved in the altercation fired two rounds into the air, before fleeing and then shooting at a truck. Nobody was injured. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
