FREEBORN COUNTY, Minn. – In an update commissioners reveal why a Freeborn County administrator was suddenly dismissed. Freeborn County Commissioners said Tuesday what led to the dismissal of Candace Pesch was the lack of confidence board members have for her performance to continue her employment and her termination was the most appropriate course of action. The board voted 3-2 to remove Pesch during a 2-1/2 hour long closed door meeting last week.
