Owatonna man accused of vandalizing Freeborn County laundromats accepts plea deal

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – An Owatonna man accused of vandalizing some Freeborn County laundromats has accepted a plea deal in the 2020 case. Russell Christopher Bailey, 45, pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal damage to property, stemming from the crimes in which police say the 45 year old damaged several washing machines and dryers at Maytag Laundry and Express Laundry, both in Albert Lea, after he allegedly broke into the coin boxes on the machines. His sentencing is set for June 23.
