Blazing Star Landing could soon be home to affordable housing

The Albert Lea City Council voted this week [Monday] to support a proposal for 60 new low- to moderate-income apartments on a portion of the Blazing Star Landing. City Manager Ian Rigg said, Tapestry Companies is seeking to apply for low-income housing tax credits for the project. The application is due by July.
