A Lakeville motorcyclist killed Sunday morning in Freeborn County after a crash on Interstate 35 north of the Iowa border has been identified. Michael Gerard Kerns apparently lost control of his bike and skidded into the median barrier, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The crash report indicated the 63 year old was not wearing a helmet, and no alcohol was detected.
