A project on Washington in Albert Lea aims to bring new life to the communtiy. During open houses this weekend, organizers will share their vision for Washington Avenue, with the first of what they’ve called BRICK + MORTAR Market, which will open in June and feature products made by local artisans, a press release states. Artisans who would like to be a part of the market are asked to sign up. A preview for the general public at BRICK + MORTAR Market will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
