AUSTIN, Minn. – The second suspect busted in a traffic stop turned drug bust in Mower County has accepted a plea deal in the 2022 case. Shane Thomas Rose, 46 of Claremont, entered a guilty plea Monday in exchange for lesser charges. Drug trafficking and possession charges will likely be dismissed when Rose is sentenced on August 5. Rose and Brittany Nichole Brown of Austin were arrested last year during a traffic stop in which officers found 27.82 grams of methamphetamine.
