Two people were injured in a four-vehicle accident on I-35 in Steele County late Sunday morning, including two juveniles. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that, 21-year old Alexis Lezama of Albert Lea lost control of her vehicle and collided with an oncoming car, before then striking two other vehicles, and coming to rest in the median cables at milepost 41 in Owatonna Township. A 16-year old passenger in Lezama’s car, and a 6-year riding in one of the other vehilcles involved both were both taken to Owatonna Hospital for treatment.
