Albert Lea’s inaugural pride festival drew big crowds this weekend. People from Albert Lea and as far as the Twin Cities gathered Saturday afternoon at Central Park for the family friendly event in Albert Lea. This was the first time Albert Lea hosted a pride event, backed by local businesses and organizationas who all wanted to send the message that everybody is welcome in Albert Lea, organizers noted.
