A Clarks Grove man who led police on a high speed chase in a stolen vehicle is facing multiple charges. Deputies spotted Shwe Thaung on Freeborn County Road 20 near Freeborn County Road 25 Thursday afternoon in a vehicle reported stolen from Clarks Grove. When Albert Lea police attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the 28 year old sped off prompting a police pursuit that ended when deputies used tire-deflation devices near Brookside Education Center. The suspect was apprehended after he crashed into a vehicle head-on.
