MASON CITY, Iowa – A Mason city teen has been sentenced for sending a violent threat to the Mason City school district last year. Destiny Anne Kaduce of Mason City is accused of sneding an email that threatened to “shoot up the school and make sure you die first” on November 4, 2022. The now 19 year old pleaded guilty to terrorism and possession of marijuana, and as part of the plea deal she received a deferred judgment and three years of probation. Kaduce was also sentenced to seven days in jail with time already served on the drug charge.
