Mower County man accused of a drug and alcohol fueled New Years eve rampage at Austin home pleaded guilty

AUSTIN, Minn. – A Mower County man accused of a drug and alcohol fueled New Years eve rampage at an Austin home has pleaded guilty. Tyler Klark Franks, of Austin, was charged with burglary, damage to property, and DWI for an incident on December 31, 2022 in which the 45 year old was accused of causing over $1,000 in damage to the home, telling Austin police during his arrest that he was a witch living in the house and was trying to save some people trapped inside. His sentencing is set for August 4.
