Rochester teen facing criminal charges after drug bust near elementary school

Rochester, MN – The Olmsted County Attorney’s Office filed several felony drug charges against a Rochester teenager Wednesday after he was arrested near a Rochester elementary school. The criminal complaint says Rochester police officers began surveillance of a potential drug trafficking operation after a tip from concerned citizens last month and detectives witnessed, “multiple drug transactions” near Franklin Elementary School June 13. 18-year-old Ezequiel Garcia?Hall was taken into custody Wednesday during a traffic stop in which officers found multiple THC cartridges. Garcia-Hall’s next court date is set for June 27.
