Trial date set for Albert Lea woman accused in overdose death of sister

PRESTON, Minn. – An Albert Lea woman accused in the overdose death of her sister is pleading not guilty.
Jeanne Ellen Penhollow, 50, is charged in Fillmore County District Court with third-degree murder, stemming from the 2021 incident in which the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office says Teresa Marie Conway was found in a garage in rural Chatfield February 2, 2021 and an autopsy found she died from fentanyl and oxycodone. Authorities say she had gotten the pain pills from Penhollow for her back pain. Penhollow is scheduled to stand trial starting October 9.
