Albert Lea police are investigating after a toddler was reportedly injured and taken to the hospital Thursday morning.
According to reports, a woman at Trailside Apartments stated her 2-year-old boy had fallen down the stairs and was reportedly unresponsive. The toddler was rushed to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. Police said the woman’s boyfriend, who had been caring for the child, was arrested in connection to the case. They said he was not the boys father.
