AUSTIN, Minn. – A 29-year-old Austin man is now facing charges after two people were shot early Saturday morning. Police responded to a distress call in the Plaza Parking Lot in downtown Austin and found one man suffering from gunshot wounds to the shoulder and leg. A second victim sought treatment for a leg wound at the Mayo Clinic in Austin. The suspect was apprehended about three hours after the incident.
