AUSTIN, Minn. – A man suffered severe injuries following a Fourth of July fireworks accident Tuesday night.
The Austin Police Department said it happened in the 800 block of 3rd Ave. NE. when an 18-year-old was holding a firework that exploded. He was taken to Mayo Clinic in Austin for treatment of chest and wrist wounds, but is expected to make a full recovery.
