ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Fourth of July fun on the water turned scary for three tubers who had to be rescued on Fountain Lake in Albert Lea. According to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, the tubers, including a 5-year-old girl, were floating in Fountain Lake when the boat pulling them hit a boat lift with a pontoon on it. The trio were treated for non life threatening injuires. The driver of the boat was cited for operating a watercraft in a reckless manor.
