No one home when Albert Lea home catches fire

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A house sustained $10,000 in damage following a fire on Sunday afternoon. Officials said it happened at 1219 Clark St. W. where crews found smoke coming from the roof vents. There were no occupants in the house at the time of the fire, which started in the laundry room due to an electrical malfunction in a light fixture, according to fire officials.
