Set up for the 2023 Mower County Fair is underway. Organizers said work began on the grounds of the Mower County Fair Monday morning and they are pretty close to ready for the carnival rides to start arriving from other fairs including Olmsted, Freeborn and Steele counties. New this year will be a petting zoo, camel rides, and a dinosaur-themed Jurassic Kingdom Lockdown. The Mower County Fair officially kicks off Aug. 8 and runs through the 13.
