A 23 year old Austin man charged in relation to a two-vehicle DWI hit and run crash in which several people were injured, made his first appearance Tuesday in Mower County District Court. Jeffer Lorenzo faces six charges in connection to the collision on Second Avenue and Fourth Street SW Friday night. He admitted that he had “12 Budweisers” prior to the wreck. Lorenzo is currently being held in Mower County Jail on $250,000 bail.
