MASON CITY – A Lake Mills man will remain behind bars. 20-year-old Benjamin Monson, convicted of sexual abuse in connection to separate incidents in Mason City in 2019 has had his motion for a new trial denied. Court documents stated a sentencing hearing for Monson will be set at a later date.
