(ABC 6 News) – Keeping workers safe. That’s the goal of new legislation Minnesota lawmakers have introduced that would enhance worker safety at meatpacking plants across the state. The “Minnesota Safe Workplaces for Meat and Poultry Processing Workers Act” would help fill in gaps that are putting the health and safety of meatpacking and food processing plant employees at risk.
