(ABC 6 News) – Plans to transform the former YMCA property in Austin into a 48-unit, multi-story apartment complex has been put on hold. Austin City Council will wait to take action on the proposed Mill Pond Apartments that would provide workforce housing to low and moderate income individuals and families. At Monday night’s meeting, the council was set to vote on the future of the proposed Mill Pond Apartments. However, the motion was made to delay those conversations until the next meeting.
