(ABC 6 News) – Drivers on Interstate 35 near the Minnesota-Iowa border at Albert Lea are likely to experience traffic delays beginning this week when road striping work starts. According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, work begins on June 2 and is expected to take at least two weeks. The lane closures will occur during daytime hours and commuters should plan for traffic delays and backups during the morning and afternoon hours, as well as weekends. The work schedule is dependent on weather, Minnesota Department of Transportaion officials said in a news release.
