Lawyer for Albert Lea teen charged in fatal 2020 crash asks judge to try some charges separately

The lawyer for the Albert Lea teen charged in a fatal August 2020 crash that killed his friend and injured three others asked a judge Wednesday to have the underage drinking and driving after revocation charges tried separately. Dominik Nikko Boots-Ringoen, 19, faces eight counts tied to the incident in which 17-year-old passenger James Joseph Amarosa III died. His next court date is set for June 25.
