Albert Lea officers cleared of any wrongdoing in November 2020 police involved shooting

(ABC 6 News) – The officers involved in a shooting incident in Albert Lea in November 2020 will not face charges. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension completed its investigation looking at law enforcement’s use of force in the shooting. The Freeborn County Attorney’s Office said after reviewing information from the incident, the attorney concluded that the evidence does “not support criminal charges against any of the officers involved. A hearing in the case has been scheduled at the end of July.
