A shooting early Saturday morning in Austin left one person dead and several others injured. According to the Austin Police Department, gunfire erupted in the 100 block of 12th Street Northeast where officers found a man dead from gunshot wounds. Police later learned that more people were also injured, but their conditions have not been released. The investigation is continuing.
