(ABC 6 News) — The Albert Lea Fire Department has a new home. The department recently unveiled its new $9 million, 26,000 square foot fire station, more than a decade in the making, during a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday, boasting upgrades that included the MN Fire Initiative, which focuses on keeping firefighters heart healthy and cancer free.
