Second person accepts responsibility for fatal 2020 Freeborn County crash

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – A second person is accepting responsibility for a 2020 fatal crash in Freeborn County. Authorities say Shelby Luv Watkins, 20 of Alden, has pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting criminal vehicular homicide, by letting 19 year old Dominik Boots-Ringeon of Albert Lea drive her vehicle the night of the deadly crash on 795th Avenue by the Glenville Pool, that killed Joseph Amarosa III, 17 of Albert Lea, and seriously injured a 15 year old passenger. Watkins is set to be sentenced on August 3.
