An 11 year old Mower County boy was killed an ATV accident near Waltham Wednesday afternoon. Mower County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 33000 block of 550th Avenue and reported that several people on the scene were performing CPR on the child who had been pinned under the ATV in a waterway for an undetermined amount of time. First responders said the boy ultimately succombed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
