(ABC 6 NEWS) – Residents in one Albert Lea nighborhood were awakened by the sound of multiple gunshots Tuesday morning. Albert Lea Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Euclid Ave just before 4:00 a.m., and officers found multiple shell casings as well as a vehicle and a home that had been shot up. Then, about an hour later police received another report of shots fired on Dunham Street and found multiple shell casings and a home with gunshot damage. Police believe the incidents are related, and said the investigation is ongoing.
