A domestic disturbance call led to a 71 year old Austin man facing felony assault and weapons charges. Russell Alan Pehl, 71, also is charged with felony terroristic threats stemming from an incident on Nov. 13, at a home on 10th Street SW where an elderly woman told police she and Phel had been arguing and he pulled out a gun causing her to fear for her life. Pehl’s next court appearance is set for Nov. 29.
