Dispuite between two Albert Lea men ended with one of them in handcuffs

FREEBORN COUNTY, Minn. – A dispuite between two Albert Lea men ended with one of them in handcuffs for allegedly shooting off an AK-47. Authorities said when a deputy was dispatched to a rural address on 785th Ave., Sunday witnesses reported that Darrell Hondl fired the gun multiple times as the victim took off running. A shell casing was found a few feet from where the victim was standing, court documents state. Hondl is facing two felony charges of second-degree assault.
