Monday morning’s commute should be quite slippery

(WCCO) – Transportation officials said Monday morning’s commute should be quite slippery and will result in many spinouts after the third round of snow rolled across Minnesota Sunday. Local forecasters predict most areas will see an inch of fresh snow, adding to the already over 3 inches in the metro area since Friday. By Monday evening, the highways should be better, but there will likely still be snow-covered secondary roads, officials said.

MEANWHILE…

Tuesday’s commute could also be dicey, with temperatures dropping overnight, which officials say may result in black ice and a lot of crashes once again. Tuesday evening’s commute will be slick as well, because highs will barely reach zero during the day.
