(ABC 6 News) – An Albert Lea teen is being hailed a hero after saving her family when their home caught on fire over the weekend. According to officials, a mother and two children were asleep in the mobile home on Gene St. in Albert Lea when the fire started and one of the children alerted her mother and all three made it out safely. The cause is undetermined but officials said the fire appears to be accidental, and the investigation is continuing.
